Ok Xanga, Why are you trying to delete me. Myspace never tries to. Do not erase all of this history I have made on this website. I have this here for memory purposes. Geez, I just have a busy life like everyone else and may not post everyday.

memorial trip to texas
We took advantage of having Memorial Day off from work and flew to Texas for the weekend. We had loads of fun. All the kids have grown up so much it’s scary. It just isn’t the same seeing pictures over your phone as it is to see them all in person and all their little personalities. And we FINALLY got to see Bev. I wish it could have been under better circumstances and a better mood setting but it’s ok…..Gosh, it is so hard to think it’s been over a year since seeing each other because it just feels like no time had passed. We did see alot of people this trip and got to catch up on everyones lives. I think the hardest part was coming home.
Well, that concludes the longest picture blog ever!!! We had so much fun and we look forward to going back soon.

“Crikey”….you will be missed
Being the animal lovers that we are we are very sad to see that Steve Irwin has died. He was filming and got stung by a stingray in the heart. Not many poeple die from being stung but being that it stung him in the heart he did die. This is very sad for the animal and enviromentalist standpoint. He did so much to raise awareness and just to say look animals are important and wonderfully made creatures and that is what his main purpose was to show you just how awesome these creatures were.
“The world has lost a great wildlife icon, a passionate conservationist and one of the proudest dads on the planet,” Stainton told reporters in Cairns. “He died doing what he loved best and left this world in a happy and peaceful state of mind. He would have said, ’Crocs Rule!”’
He will surely be missed for his funny ways of showing the world that animals rule.

Accident, Insurance and a Tree
So, on July 21st I was in an accident. Yes, It was my fault. And its actually funny cause I wasn’t even on my phone when it happened which I thought would end up being the case sooner or later. I was turning onto a street doing the little right on red curve thingy when the person in front of me went. So I looked behind me and saw that I could go too so I went. BUT, the person had not gone she had slammed on her breaks. So, I of course hit her. It was hardly what you would call a wreck and it was really a waste to the police officers time to come out cause we weren’t hurt and our cars were not damaged bad just scraps. Her car is worse because my SUV went over her bumper. But still just a few hundred dollars in damage.
So back to the not hurt part. I asked her if she was ok right afterwards and she said yes. Then when I called 911 they wanted me to ask again if she was hurt and she said she was fine and not hurt. So when the police officer came he asked if we were hurt and she said no again. Well, she was a very nice girl and she even told the cop when asked that she did not want to give me a ticket and that she knew I would settle this with insurance so no police report/ticket was necassary. So she seemd really nice. Well, I get a call from the insurance company that she got a lawyer and that she is sueing because she is hurt. WHAT??? Ok, so why not call my insurance company and see if I cover your medical which I do and see about going that route. A lawyer??? I was not even going 5 miles an hour. More like 1 or 2. I was maybe 10 feet away so how fast can you get in 10 feet turning and curve from a complete stop?? Even still be hurt but call my insurance instead of a lawyer. So now, they are telling me I have 50,000 dollar coverage but if her lawyer and what she is sueing for is more then that comes out of our pocket. WHAT WHAT?? Yes, its all true. Sad, but true.
And so now my baby has scratches on it but it was my fault and we prolly won’t even fix it cause it is $300 just to fix a few scratches. But, it seems like my car is destined to get hurt and keep getting hurt cause we are at Jason and Jessica eating a lovely & hard prepared meal of pizza(It was of course homemade from papa johns) when all of a sudden lightening hits the electric pole right behind Jasons head. Which I think God was aiming for Jason but missed. So we are stunned by that and then we hear something else and I hear everyone saying OMG so I run to see what it is and a tree fell on my car. Yes, a tree fell on my car. So more scratches on it. I was sooooo mad I had to leave before something else crazy happened. Plus, I made a key lime pie and we did not even get to eat any:(((
So, just when we thought our luck could not get any better, we decided to call and renew our insurance to Florida rate. I thought that with my current wreck and everything that we were going to pay $400 a month. Well, we are now paying less that we were before. We were paying 260 a month and now we pay 230. And we have added 20,000 medical for us because we have no insurance at the present time. So, woot woot for moving to the sunshine state and getting cheaper insurance. Now, If I could only get that kinda cheap luck when looking for a house. I mean, in Texas they do have the better deal on houses because you can buy so much more there for $100,000 than here. Plus, insurance here is outrageous due to hurricanes. But ha to you texans….I am saving on my car insurance and right now that is going to make me happy!!!!! So Whoop Whoop!!!!
Pictures of car damage coming soon!!!!

Short, but oh so sweet

Some may say there was not enough time to know you
I know I may be too emotional
But how can I not be
Any one would be
If they had the chance to know you
You came into our lives
Like it was meant to be
It was as if God wanted your last days to be oh so sweet
You showed us your personality
We did not even have to question or ask for it
Just for the few days we knew you
We knew that you were a great soul
I hope you feel that your last days were great
And that knowing us was even greater
I pray you dont dwell on your pain
But instead on your time when you nuzzled me in my arms
I know I will remember
All the little things
That made you who I fell in love with
When I first saw you
And your great spirit shown like a sunrise
Melting my heart ever so gently
God must have known your time would be short
And that you needed to be thought of
More than just an animal
But as a child
That must be why I thought of you
So much and never could stop
And I could not wait to hold you again
He must have known I needed to give you
A lifetime of love in just a few days
And that must be why he chose me
To capture you
And care for you
And show you love
That only an emotional person could show
You and I must have been in Gods plan
Together showing each other that Love is great
And love is so possible
And so connecting
You and I
Will always be connected
Even if our days together were numbered
You have shown me that I must appreciate
All the little things
Oh all the little things
You were so little
So frail
So Loved
You know if I could
I would have protected you
From all the harm
This world has to show
I would have chased away
The bad and only given you the good
But I couldnt
And for that I am sorry
So sorry
You will never be forgotten
You were so Loved
So Loved

Well, we went to IHOP on saturday night and there was a cute little kitten outside that was running around and then came to the glass door wanting to get in. He actually looked like Chris old cat Fizzy. So we went in and ate and didn’t think another thought about the kitten. Then, when we were leaving our waitress was outside feeding the him scraps of chicken fried steak. It wasn’t very much and he was acting like he was starving. So the waitress said that was their cat. So I went to leave and she said your welcome to take him. Really!!! So Chris was like, well, they are feeding him here. So I was trying to talk him into it and telling him that he would strictly be an outside cat. While deciding, I picked him up hoping that he would be nice and he did not hesitate the attention. I was afraid he was going to run when I tried to pick him up but he loved being picked up and petted. Finally, Chris agreed because it is a busy business area and busy road so we decided the kitten would be better in our neighborhood. He did wonderful on the trip to the house. He was not afraid just curious. I was a little afraid that he would run off and Chris was hoping he would so someone would give him a good inside home. But, if he was to run off I would be so paranoid as to whether he did find a better home or not. He hasn’t run off though, he hangs around waiting for us to come outside so hopefully he will keep staying. I would of course love for him to be inside and it breaks my heart to keep him outside, but we already have two spoiled rotten cats inside that we pay to get fixed and such. Plus, my cats now take over my house and I sometimes think they are the owners. LOL. Another big plus, we did some major cleaning to our house this weekend and the amount of hair that we vacuumed up from our two cats is horrible. We could have made a sweater out of it. Anyhow, I think we agreed to call him smeagle. He is very skinny and malnourished and has a bob-tail that is kinda crooked looking. But he is the sweetest thing ever. I am thinking he will look alot better once he is on a regular kitten food diet. Has to better for him than chicken fried steak.
Here are some pics.
He loves to play and follow me around

He is finding little hinding places out of the sun

You can see how tiny he is next to my cactus garden which is not very tall at all

He likes being outside and in our bushes

Finally…..The wedding photos
Alexander Wedding!!!!
I know, I know….It has been over a month since the wedding. I did not want to use just any pics….I wanted to use the best and it took a while to get all of the pics together. Most of the Pics are from Evans Photografix but some are from others cameras as well. Like I said in my last post, the wedding was awesome. Everything went pretty close to perfect.

The bride to be getting her hair done by Meghan…. a long time friend of the family. She did an awesome job on all of our hair.

I know these are small but its the only way I could post them. How many bridemaids does it take to dress the bride?? All exept the pregnant one. LOL
The maid of honor is trying to find Roxannes feet so we can put her shoes on.

We were having trouble keeping our own dresses on while dressing Roxanne.
