When Your Hut's on Fire....
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited
island.
He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him.
Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.
Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.
One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had happened, and everything was lost.
He was stunned with disbelief, grief, and anger. He cried out, "God! How could you do this to me?"
Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island!
It had come to rescue him! "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.
The Moral of This Story: It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of our pain and suffering.
Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of God.
P.S. You may want to consider passing this on, because you never know who feels as if their hut is on fire today.

OK, OK, I am updating just for Holly. HEHEHEHE Just Joking I need to start updating everyday.
So, Today was my first day of training for Manager postition at Club Libby Lu's. I loved it so much. I did this little girls hair cause it was her birthday and it turned out so adorable. She had on a little fairy princess outfit and we did a little dance and she loved it. Although, She was a little shy about the dancing. I was also nervous a little cause it was the first time I had danced in the middle of the mall before. I have to get over that real quick. HEHEHEHE The only thing I might not be able to get used to is the fragrances that we have. We have an area where we makes "Potions" and its really just body washes or lotions or body sprays but being around all that perfume starts to give me a headache. And then, once I have one, It won't go away. Oh, Well.
Now that I have a headache I need something to eat. I always need to eat when I get a headache....Don't ask me why???
Hope everyone has a good week.

Finding a job that pays halfway decent is hard. I don't know if I am the only one that has trouble finding a job or if I am just too picky but I do not want minimum wage when I was making good money at the bank. Maybe its because I expect a job too soon. I am going to try and be patient and know that the right job will come along. I hope everyone has a good halloween. Last year I had candy here to give out and I even had pumpkin lights decorating around my door and noone came by. I was so upset I ate all the candy. HEHEHEHE. Have a good one.

Things are Finally starting to get back to normal after the Hurricane. My sister is living with me for awhile cause Bridge City was without power and stuff. I almost had alot of my family come and stay but they got FEMA help and Red Cross help. All of my families houses are messed up in some way or another. Thankfully they have FEMA money to help out with that too. I have had my grandparents cat since they weren't home because of the storm and I am bringing him back this weekend. Man, the evacuation and the living arrangements during the storm was stressful and I am so glad to be back home. I can't believe there is another one brewing out there. And its another GIRL!!!! What is the deal with the women hurricanes????
I can't Believe this year is almost up. Its crazy. I want to go all out decorating this Christmas. Its my favorite time of year. Anyways, Have a good week yall and stay safe.

Ugh, We are finally home and we are safe. We had no idea where exactly it was hitting we were just told to evacuate. Well, it missed where we are at but it got all of mine and my husbands families in Port Arthur, Orange and Bridge City Texas. Please pray for us as we go and help them get whatever is left of their houses back in order. I have a feeling alot of family will be heading to our house in the next few days because we are one of the few with power and no damage. What a mess. I wish I could had updated more often but where we evacuated to had no power and was getting tropical storm weather. If we would have known we would have stayed home....but you never can tell with these storms. All of my family is safe and sound....all evacuated. Some in shelters but they are alive so we are thankful. Keep my family in your prayers. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected. I am just so thankful that there have not been as many deaths as hurricane Katrina. I think people really took the warnings seriously. God Bless!!!
